Join us for an informal session with Michael Coren on surviving the ups and downs of your career, especially when tackling challenging topics like climate change. Michael, Emory class of 2002 alumnus, is a journalist writing a climate advice column for The Washington Post. Before joining the Post in 2022, he spent nearly two decades as a reporter and editor covering climate, technology, and economics for outlets such as Quartz and CNN.com. He also worked on forestry carbon projects in Indonesia, spent an amazing year as a Henry Luce Scholar and managing editor of Cambodia’s Phnom Penh Post, and earned a master's degree in environmental science from the Yale School of the Environment.
